Caring For the Caregiver The work that caregiver, either professional or volunteer, can be very challenging. Your work centrals around the emotional and physical needs of people. You often care for clients or family members who are in situations that will not improve or may even get worse. Involved in this type of work you can find yourself moving from one sensitive situation to another. This can be hard on your emotional and physical health. Caregivers experience mixed emotions. Love for your family member, or client and the Satisfaction you derive from helping may coexist with feelings of resentment from hurt feeling.
