What is Reiki?

Reiki (pronounced Ray Key) is a combination of two Japanese words rei and ki meaning universal life energy. Universal Life Energy is the life force or living energy that sustains life of organs, cells, tissue, and blood. As a spiritual entity the life force is considered our connective flow to the creator.

Also Known As: Chinese refer to the life force as chi or qi. Hindus call it prana. Greeks know it as pneuma. Japanese refer to it as ki.  Reiki is an ancient laying-on of hands healing technique that uses the life force energy to heal, balancing the subtle energies within our bodies. Reiki addresses physical, emotional, mental and spiritual imbalances. This healing art is an effective delivery system. The Reiki practitioner serves as a vessel that supplies healing energies where they are most needed. Reiki's ki-energies flow out of the practitioner's body through the palms of the hands while they are touching the recipient's body.

·  History of Reiki - Who are Dr. Usui, Dr. Hayashi, and Mrs. Hawayo Takata?

·  Pre-Reiki hands-on experience - Notice your hands, is there any energy flow?

·  Receive attunements 1 & 2

·  Share attunement experience with class.

·  Post-attunement hands-on experience.

·  Learn self-treatment hand positions

·  Give yourself a full self treatment. 

·  Lunch break.

·  Receive attunements 3 & 4

·  Share time.

·  Learn hand positions to give a Reiki treatment to others

·  Group Reiki - Everyone takes turns receiving a Reiki treatment.

·  Class Ends - At the end of the day you are Reiki Level 1. Your attunement to Reiki energy is permanent. Reiki is a balancing energy.            $160.00
